Bike- & Leisure trail R9B

The R9B bike and leisure trail in the Katschberg Lieser-Maltatal region is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Carinthia. From Gmünd to the toll station of the Malta Hochalmstraße, the bike and leisure trail mostly follows the Malta river. The scenic diversity of the Maltatal can be explored comfortably on two wheels.

The Maltatal, also known as the "Valley of the Falling Waters", is car-free networked by the bike and leisure trail and some destinations can be reached directly. With a total length of 33 km (there and back), the R9B cycle path offers cycling fun for the whole family. Few meters in altitude, but many adventures along the route. The Maltatal donkey park, resting places located directly on the Malta river, the Fallbach water adventure park or the Göss waterfalls invite you to linger.
