Graggl pools water experience in Trebesing
Malteiner water features
The Maltatal is also known as the "Valley of rushing water". In no other area in Carinthia are there more waterfalls on so small an area. The Malta-Hochalm-Straße takes one conveniently to the most beautiful "Water viewing points": Schleierfall, Melnikfall, Hochbrücke, all worn smooth by water and with deeply gouged gorges, pot-holes and pools. You should drive as far as the tollgate and go from there along the "Malteiner Wasserspiele" trail.

Miners' water trail with thunder Gorge Dwarfs' trail
Dwarfs, roots, treasure, legends, raging water that cascades into the valley like rolling thunder - this is what the theme trail offers in the parish of Krems in Carinthia. The trail explains the history of mining in the region and the associated significance of water.
Children are encouraged to search for the hidden "Treasure of the Nockzwerge [Nock dwarfs]", an exciting but tricky search for treasure in the Thunder Gorge using a map.

Graggl pools water experience
A perfect place to pause and absorb the many impressions from the Water Power Experience tour. Hear the waters of the Lieser rushing past, serve up tasty sausages at the barbecue areas, dangle your feet in the water, switch off, let the trout swim by.

Pöllatal stream experience trail
Wandering in an idyllic natural world, and working creatively with natural materials and water. Information boards along the trail point out much to observe and discover. Children can solve problems and puzzles, or be shown how to create "little works of art". Perhaps you will also visit the arsenic show cabin.
