On the Katschberg 100% of the pistes have snow cannons, in case Jack Frost really has forgotten this magnificent corner of the world.
The ski area, extending on the Salzburg side to St. Margarethen and St. Michael and on the Carinthian side to Rennweg, includes 70 km groomed pistes and 16 lifts up to 2.2200m.
Nestling in the fantastic mountain world of the Tauern, there is a challenge here for every skier:
Pistes for top skiers, and also intermediate and easy slopes for all who like an elegant and leisurely glide down the mountain.
Naturally there are also plenty of practice slopes for children.
A special highlight is the "Direttissima" from the Aineck mountain station, which can offer a 60% to 100% gradient.
